With the portable SA700 128GB High-Resolution Digital Audio Player from Astell&Kern, you get a player that's engineered to produce extreme high fidelity and sound reproduction, while wrapped in a retro exterior that showcases a refined take on Astell&Kern's original AK120. The SA700 uses dual AK4492ECB DACs, which are made to deliver a pure sound while maintaining low power consumption. The SA700 provides bit-to-bit playback up to 32-bit/384 kHz, and native DSD up to 11.2 MHz.

All of this technology is packed into a durable, corrosion-resistant, stainless-steel frame. This frame also houses a 4.1" touchscreen display and a generous 128GB of internal memory for your audio files (expandable up to 1TB via an optional microSD card). The SA700 supports a variety of formats for playback, including MQA, which is designed to deliver the sound of original master recordings in a smaller file size. The SA700 can both play MQA files and streams.

Volume Control Knob with LED Indicator

• The knurled exterior volume knob is accented by an LED indicator ring that is not only meant to be aesthetically pleasing, but also informative. The color denotes the bit depth of the song being played, and 150 levels of red saturation help to reflect the current volume. The light turns red for 16-bit songs, green for 24-bit, blue for 32-bit, and purple for DSD.

Open APP Service

• The SA700 supports a variety of apps, including Tidal, MOOV, Spotify, Amazon Music, and more. The player also gives you the freedom of installing apps via APK files. Just copy your APK of choice to the Open Service folder and install it via Astell&Kern's customized GUI and menu system.

Bluetooth 4.2 with aptX HD

• Listening to your lossless audio anywhere is even more convenient without wires. Pair a set of (optional) Bluetooth headphones and stream your music without needing to carry the SA700, or leave it safely stored in a bag or backpack. The SA700 supports aptX HD to help ensure high-definition audio playback.

All-Day Playback

• The high-resolution SA700 portable audio player is capable of up to 8.5 hours of playback via a 3150mAh LiPo battery. With standard 5V/2A charging, you can fully recharge the SA700 in up to 4.5 hours.
