The Story
More than four decades after it first appeared on Queen’s tenth studio album, Hot Space, “Cool “Cat” is being released on limited-edition 7” pink vinyl single, exclusively for Record Store Day. Making its debut as an A-side, this marks the 7th single taken from the 1982 album. The B-side features a brand-new, previously unreleased instrumental mix of the track. “Cool Cat” was co-written by bassist John Deacon and singer Freddie Mercury and includes a rare falsetto lead vocal performance from the flamboyant frontman.
